John Deere Sponsors “Women at Work” Docuseries

John Deere Construction & Forestry announced a $125,000 sponsorship of the “Women at Work: Breaking Barriers” docuseries by nonprofit A Greener Tomorrow.

Produced by Jennifer Todd, president of LMS General Contractors and founder of A Greener Tomorrow, the five-episode series aims to inspire the next generation of tradeswomen and support the current workforce of women in construction. Through real-life stories, each episode will be a source of inspiration; sharing the ways in which a career in the industry has enhanced the lives of five women.

“The construction industry’s growth continues to increase pressure on recruiting and retaining key talent in STEM and skilled trades. Engaging with A Greener Tomorrow initiative was an easy decision,” said Jason Daly, vice president at John Deere. “We are inspired by the women in this docuseries and are humbled to help tell their stories.”

Women account for only 14.9% of the construction industry’s workforce.

“Women at Work: Breaking Barriers” will be available exclusively on YouTube. For partnership or sponsorship opportunities, please contact Jennifer Todd, [email protected].
